Michael has been in the hospitality industry for 15 years. He began his career as an owner/operator of two country clubs in Rhode Island and Maine. Then he moved to the Worcester area taking his first hotel job at the Crowne Plaza in 1999 as a sales manager. In the next couple of years moved to the Holiday Inn as director of sales going back to work at the CVB in 2006.Afterwards Michael came to work at True North Hotels as a director of sales and was quickly promoted to regional director of sales for 7 properties and where he is currently. He received his hotel sales certification in 2009 and received the “top 10 sales people in Central Ma” award from the business journal that same year.

Marketing Director with Music Worcester since 2006, Midge previously worked many years in the corporate world, with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in marketing for the company offices in Sherborn, Sudbury, Westborough and Northborough, and with individual brokers at the VP level. Her association with Coldwell Banker, and other prior companies was in direct sales.
Midge was born and grew up in this area, graduating both high school and college right here in Massachusetts, from Algonquin Regional and UMass Boston.
Music has always been part of life, from choir to band as a child. In recent years Midge has sung with the Assabet Valley Mastersingers & the smaller chamber ensemble, Wesley Methodist Church Choir and toured Europe with AVM and The Myron Heaton Chorale from Nevada. In the past she has served as board member and president of AVM, and as a member of the board of directors for the Musicians of the Old Post Road, an early music ensemble. She is presently studying violin with Jeanne Drumm.

Kathy Kirk has worked at the Holiday Inn Express for almost seven years. She started as the night auditor and worked her way up to Director of Sales. She also has her own transcription business on the side, which she has had for 18 years.Kathy use to own and operate a modeling school and agency in Worcester five years ago. In her personal accomplishmentd she was voted Mrs. Massachusetts in 1997.

Jim has been a member of the SMG team at the DCU Center since its opening as the Centrum in September 1982. During that time he has held various management positions starting as the Assistant Box Office Manager, Box Office Manager, Director of Ticketing for SMG, then becoming Director of Sales when the Convention Center addition opened in 1997. Jim is involved in many organizations and various boards in the Worcester region both on a professional level and civic level. Jim resides in Holden with his wife Beth and Children Jimmy, Caitlin and Alyssa. Jim grew up in Leicester graduating from Leicester High School in 1997 then Assumption College in 1981.

Mary Simone, Area General Manager Marlborough /Westborough Courtyard‘s by Marriott brings more than 34 years of experience in the hospitality industry. As an area general manager is responsible for all phrases of the Marlborough Courtyard daily operation and regional support for Westborough Courtyard. Simone has held position of General Manager of the Marlborough hotel since July 2005.Prior to that position Simone served as GM for Westborough Courtyard for 5 years. She has held numerous sales positions with in the Marriott brand including Director of Sales Harrisburg Marriott and Director of Marketing Westborough Marriott, Worcester Marriott. Simone is on the board of Directors for Corridor Nine Area Chamber of Commerce as well the Marlborough Chamber of Commerce. Simone graduated with an Associates Degree from Paul Smith’s College in New York also her Bachelors Degree from State University of New York College of Technology.
