Day 1

Once you navigate out of the maze, find your way to Chocksett Inn.  Also located in Sterling, MA, this traditional colonial Inn and restaurant features a cozy fireside room and lounge.  The Inn overlooks a flowing brook, and offers a wide variety of dishes and beverages for you and yours to enjoy.

Day 2

Fruitlands MuseumTake a drive to the Fruitlands Museum. The museum boasts galleries of impressive art work, and has a store and a renowned restaurant for you to enjoy.  Outside, a peaceful walk through along 3.2 miles of well-marked walking trails offers the hiker a bounty of natural beauty and wonder. The trails bring you through meadows and rolling hills, and climax with a breathtaking view of the Nashua River Valley.
 
Indulge in lunch on the street side patio at the Flying Rhino.  This trendy and eclectic establishment offers fine food and drink in a stylish environment.  Located on Shrewsbury Street in Worcester, the Flying Rhino is easy to find, and is sure to leave you with a satisfied stomach and a memorable experience.

Tree Canopy Walkway at the EcoTariumImagine being 40 feet high in the trees, harnessed and clipped to a series of swinging bridges spanning 150 feet.  Along with this adrenaline rush, imagine what you may discover looking from this unique vantage point. The Tree Canopy Walkway at the EcoTarium is the only place in New England where visitors can experience what it's like to walk amongst the birds.  Like many of the experiences you'll have on a visit to the EcoTarium, a walk through the treetops offers a fun and cool way to experience nature. This blows a regular walk through the woods right out of the forest.

Day 3

Head off to the Blackstone Valley. It is here that America's Industrial Revolution began in 1790. Here in the Valley chose from a variety of outdoor activities. Enjoy a hike and a picnic lunch at Purgatory Chasm. The chasm is a glacially formed gorge that was cut through solid granite during the second glacial period, about 14,000 years ago. Found in the heart this 1,300 hundred-acre state park, the gorge is nearly a quarter mile long and 70 feet deep.

CanoingConclude your Central Massachusetts adventure with a visit to "America's hardest working river," the 46-mile Blackstone. The river has recently enjoyed a new reputation as an ideal locale for kayaking, fishing, picnicking, and enjoying all that Mother Nature has to offer.  Whether by boat, yak, or foot be sure to explore the beautiful Blackstone.
