Beginning at the Union Station circle in Worcester, travel onto Shrewsbury Street.
The Boulevard Diner is on the right. One of the most photogenic diners in existence, featured on several diner related television shows.
The Parkway Diner is on the left. The exterior is completely remodeled and easy to miss. The interior is in original shape.
Mac’s Diner is on the right.
Continue straight on Shrewsbury Street to Aitchison Street.
Take a right onto Aichison Street. Follow it straight to Plantation Street.
Charlie’s Diner is on the left. This diner is in excellent condition and smoke free.
Take a right onto Plantation Street. Follow it straight to Franklin Street.
Take a right onto Franklin Street. Follow it straight to Harding Street.
The site of the Worcester Fire Fighters’ Tragedy is on the left. This is the site of the warehouse fire that claimed the lives of six firefighters.
The Kenmore Diner is on the left. The interior was designed to resemble the former structure after it was completely destroyed by the warehouse fire.
Take a left onto Harding Street. Follow it straight to Kelly Square.
Go straight through the Kelly Square intersection to Larmartine Street.
Take a right onto Larmartine Street. Follow it straight to Quinsigamond Avenue.
The Corner Lunch Diner is on the left at the Quinsigamond Avenue intersection.
Take a left onto Quinsigamond Avenue. Follow it straight to the stop sign.
Continue straight through the intersection. The road changes to Millbury Street.
Continue straight. The road changes to Ballard Street (Rte. 146 South) and watch for the “West Main Street/ West Millbury” exit sign.
Take the “West Main Street/ West Millbury” exit.
Go left at the bottom of the ramp and go straight to the intersection of Elm and Main Streets.
The Central Diner is on the left at this intersection, excellently preserved and very photogenic!
Reverse direction and follow the road straight past the exit ramp. Then bear left (no turn) when passing ramp. This is West Main Street.
Go right at the fork onto Sutton Road.
Continue straight onto Singletary Road (name change only).
Take a right onto Central Turnpike Road and follow to Rte 12.
Take a left onto Rte 12 South.
Carl’s Diner is on the right. It has been totally re-sided with a mansard rook exterior, although the inside is unchanged. Huge portions and smoke free.
Follow Rte 12 North to Rte 20 East.
Take Rte 20 East to I-290 East to exit 16.
Take a left at the bottom of the ramp. Go straight to DCU Center.
