When are tours offered?
Groups may participate in a private tour weekdays (Monday through Friday) from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Is there a limit to the size of group?
There is no minimum size of the group, however, there is a minimum charge. (See below.) In order to provide a more intimate tour, we do encourage a maximum of 40 people per tour. Groups greater than 40 will be split into two or more groups.
How long is the tour?
You should allow approximately one hour for your group's visit. For groups in excess of 40, you should plan an additional ½ hour for each additional tour. This will provide adequate time for the tour, wine sampling, browsing and shopping at the Wine Shoppe. Depending on the season, you may choose to extend your visit to include lunch in our rustic farm house restaurant J's (open Wed - Sat. for lunch, Sun. brunch and Wed - Sat for dinner) pick your own fruit (July through October), or just delight in the scenery
What is the cost?
Private Group Tours cost $5.00 per person with a minimum cost of $250.00 per group (regardless of the size). Weekend tours are open to the general public. Because weekends are very busy, we are unable to schedule private tours or guarantee time and space availability for "walk-in" group tours. Each private group tour includes a commemorative Nashoba Valley wine glass for each guest to take home. The minimum non-refundable private group tour fee of $250.00 must be paid in advance by check or major credit card (VISA, MasterCard or AMEX) to guarantee your reservation. The remaining balance is due at the start of your tour.
How do we make reservations?
Private group tours must be booked in advance in order to hire a tour guide. To schedule a special private group tour of the Winery, please contact the Winery at 978-779-5521 during the week between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Reservations must be made at least two weeks in advance to secure your desired time and guarantee that a tour guide is available. Please provide us with the name of your group, the date, time, estimated number of guests, contact name, phone number, and address, and any of your special requests/needs.
Can we host a private function?
The Winery provides an idyllic setting for a private function. We would be happy to work with you to create the perfect afternoon or evening with award winning Nashoba Valley wines and perfectly prepared menu selections by our professional staff at J's either in the restaurant or our outdoor pavilion. The outdoor pavilion is only available during the daytime for private functions including barbecues.
