The Drama Club at Becker College is pleased to announce the April production of The Long Red Herring. The Long Red Herring takes our productions up another notch with a terrific ensemble of cast and crew,” said Mark Lund, Drama Director, Becker College. “One of my goals when returning this program to Becker was to partner with other departments to increase student participation. For our April production, interior design students will design our set, Professor Kleine’s living room.”

Written by Pat Cook, The Long Red Herring is a full length comedy murder mystery. Professor Kleine has a rather unusual final exam. He sets up a murder in his own home and has his students try to solve it. But is it just an assignment or has a real murder taken place? The clues seem staged and obvious until one student is murdered...and then another. Part of the final? Or actual homicides? The surprising ending will simply kill you!

The Long Red Herring stars Taylor Rhoads, Jordan Dyer, Courtney Dupuis, Matthew Riley, Bianca Johnson, Julie Merry, Robert Goldsmith, Tara McCarthy and Jessica Szorentini.Under the guidance of Assistant Professor, Interior Design Barbara Kimball, set design students include: Gina Midolo, Carmen Minaya, Kelly Bradley, Emily Gold and Sean Harris. The Long Red Herring is produced and directed by Mark Lund. Jessica Szorentini, Assistant Director; Tara McCarthy, Stage Manager; Seton Benjamin, Technical Manager with Melissa Smith, Amelia Naugler, Skyler Kurita Wilson and Zahara Yee on production.
