WHITINSVILLE, MASSACHUSETTS, November 25, 2008 ... The Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce will hold its' annual Holiday Business After Hours on Wednesday, December 3, 2008 from 5:30PM - 7:30PM at Blackstone National Golf Club, 227 Putnam Hill Road, Sutton, MA.

Rod Lee, a friend of the Valley and the Chamber, Telegram & Gazette Business columnist and editor of d.b.a. magazine, will sign copies of his new book, Whole Lotta Shakin' - A Rock & Roll Lover's Reflections on Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness." Copies of the book will be sold at the event and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the BVCC Education Foundation. There will be two showcase sponsors at the event that can help you with your holiday shopping. Tender Beauty Pearls will be displaying for sale their beautiful selection of custom pearl jewelry. In addition, a representative from Beijo Bags will be showing designer purses usually sold exclusively through private parties. Even Santa will make an appearance at the event, and he might bring an elf with him.

Admission is $10.00 but free to attendees who bring a gift-wrapped toy, tagged with the age appropriate and whether for girl/boy/G or B. All of the toys will be donated to Department of Children and Families in Whitinsville. "In the spirit of the holiday season we would like to give back to our members, while at the same time supporting the residents of the Valley and giving to others," said Jeannie Hebert, President & CEO of Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce. There will be plenty of food and festivities and a performance by carolers from Appletree Arts in Grafton will put us all in the holiday mood! We look forward to celebrating with you at the BVCC Holiday Business After Hours in the inviting atmosphere of the Blackstone National Golf Club. We'll keep the fire glowing for you in the fieldstone fireplace!
