Fall Family Festival Scheduled for October 10 at West End Creamery in Whitinsville, MA

The Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce Tourism Association invites children and adults of all ages to its Fall Family Festival on Saturday, October 10, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the West End Creamery located at 481 Purgatory Road in Whitinsville—take Exit 6 East off of Route 146. The rain date is Sunday, October 11, from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m.
This first annual agri-tourism event is free to the public and will include a variety of demonstrations, exhibits, vendors and food concessions. Test your aim with the pumpkin catapult; watch history come alive with the End Zone Militia—Revolutionary War re-enactors seen at all Patriots home games; find your way out of the hay maze; make a scarecrow; explore the Barnyard Midway; learn about the history of the region from Park Rangers from the John H. Chaffee Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor, and participate in the Northbridge Police and Fire exhibits and safety demonstrations.
Meet Finz from the Worcester Sharks and Twister from the Worcester Tornadoes. Kids of all ages will enjoy hay rides, horseback riding and jumping demonstrations by Azrael Acres Riding Stable, a round of miniature golf, a petting zoo, Bo Bo the Clown, a bee keeping demonstration by Sweet Briar Florist, face painting, a Nubian goat exhibit and demonstration, and pumpkin painting by Dog Orphans.
Relax and enjoy the National Anthem sung by Matthew Viera, music by Apple Tree Arts, Celtic fiddling by Mark Labbe, performances by the Joanne Warren Dance Studio, and free foot massages by Harmony Wellness Center.
