BOYLSTON-Exotic locations and favorite places will be highlighted at Tower Hill Botanic Garden's annual HOLLY DAYS, November 28, 2008 through January 4, 2009. This year's theme has a travel twist: "Holiday Get-Aways!" Visitors will marvel at countless ornaments reflecting popular holiday destinations. On display will be magnificently decorated trees, wreaths, and swags adorned with gleaming lights and exquisitely hand-crafted natural ornaments, making use of natural materials such as dried flowers, leaves, seeds, seed-heads, cones, branches, and fruits. In the Orangerie, glittering lights illuminate the lush foliage of flowering plants and bulbs. This year's entertainment includes live music from a selection of talented artists, youth activities, holiday workshops, story telling, and garden tours. Visitors may browse the Gift Shop for delightful holiday decorations and gifts, or enjoy a delicious, hearty lunch at Tower Hill's Twigs Café (open 11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.).
