The Special Olympics Massachusetts Winter Games are a great opportunity for athletes to showcase their love for winter sports and another opportunity for them to experience a full and vibrant lifestyle. The 2010 Winter Games will take place March 13 and 14 throughout Central Massachusetts.  Athletes come to compete in any number of sports including Alpine Skiing, Basketball, Bowling and Floor Hockey.  Other winter sports include Nordic Skiing, Figure and Speed Skating and this year athletes have the opportunity to travel to the Connecticut Winter Games to compete in those sports.  Follow this link for athletic event listings and locations.
