WHO: Trans-Siberian Orchestra

WHAT: Trans-Siberian Orchestra will kick off the holiday season in Worcester when they return to the DCU Center on Thursday, December 11 at 7:30PM for the ONLY Massachusetts stop on their 2008 Winter Tour! Since 1996, when Trans-Siberian Orchestra debuted, the group has sold more than five million albums and performed before more than two million fans in sold-out venues across the country.

Trans-Siberian Orchestra's performances are live sensory extravaganzas, which include an orchestral string section, a full rock band, multiple vocalists, a narrator, extensive pyrotechnics and a stunning laser and light show.

The band, established by rock producer/composer/lyricist Paul O'Neill, has released four CDs--three holiday sets and 2000's "Beethoven's Last Night"--plus the 2001 DVD "The Ghosts of Christmas Eve." TSO's most recent studio album, "The Lost Christmas Eve," was released in 2004 and was followed later that year by the "The Christmas Trilogy" box set.

With its timeless message, a sound that offers something for everyone, and audiences that cross all generational divides, Trans-Siberian Orchestra has become something that must be seen to be believed!
