WHAT: 97.7/107.3 WAAF will host the 16th Annual Walk and Rock for Change from Wednesday, November 19 to Friday, November 21. For three days WAAF personalities L.B. and Spaz will walk through several cities in Massachusetts and New Hampshire to raise money for the fight against hunger. All proceeds raised from the event will benefit the Food Banks of Boston, New Hampshire, and Worcester County.

WAAF's Morning Show personality Spaz will broadcast live from the DCU Center Arena Box Office Lobby on Wednesday, November 19 from 6AM to 10AM. Worcester-area residents and workers are encouraged to stop into the DCU Center to donate their spare change and request their favorite songs. Individuals who donate at the DCU Center Wednesday morning will qualify to win tickets to a variety of upcoming DCU Center events, including tomorrow night's Worcester Sharks game!

Every November since 1993, WAAF hosts its Annual Walk and Rock for Change. Within the past 16 years, the walk has raised over one million dollars for Food Banks throughout the region. During the three-day event WAAF has hunger awareness on-air, featuring a "pay-to-play" marathon. Listeners can call in or come to the broadcast sites to request songs; the more unusual the song the more it costs to play.
