BOLTON, Mass. - On July 20, 2008 Nashoba Valley Winery will host its fun and informative Wine and Food in Balance event. From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in Nashoba's beautiful outdoor pavilion, visitors will learn about why the dominant flavors in wine and food either strike the perfect flavor balance or result in a confusion of tastes on the tongue.

During the program, certified wine educator Paul Malagrifa will help food and wine lovers understand the basic principles of wine and food pairings to make their dining experiences more pleasurable. Guests will taste four distinct Nashoba Valley wines paired with mouth-watering fare created by Steve Sprague, executive chef of J's at Nashoba Valley Winery.

The Wine and Food in Balance event is $25 per person. Prepaid online reservations are required and can be made at www.nashobawinery.com by clicking the "Events" link.
