Our 15 room mansion, built circa 1780, features six deluxe guest accommodations appointed with period antiques as well as all modern amenities, including private bathrooms, air-conditioning, and color cable television with DVD players and access to our 1000+ DVD film library. Lovely perennial gardens, ancient stone walls, and towering evergreens surround the estate which is tucked into the heart of Spencer's Historic District. Original wide-board pumpkin pine floors, chair rails, and crown moldings have been lovingly restored to their original beauty. The Red Maple Inn is an elegant historic venue for your next special occasion. From intimate weddings and rehearsal dinners, to showers or private parties (up to 50 people), your event will be individually designed with your needs and budget in mind. From passed silver tray hors d'oeuvres to tented sit-down dinners on our Great Lawn (summer months only) surrounded by majestic pines. Featuring international cuisine and fine personal service, your party will long be remembered for every sparkling detail. We also offer special occasion dining, private parties, and Saturday night "Dinner and a Movie" featuring a three-course dinner prepared by Chef Shari Alexander, followed by a classic film shown in our private screening room, all for one low fixed price.
